Will Buxton Takes Helm of FOX IndyCar Broadcast Team, Joined by Hinchcliffe and Bell
FOX Sports has unveiled its new IndyCar Series broadcast team for the 2025 season, with Formula 1 veteran Will Buxton leading the commentary alongside James Hinchcliffe and Townsend Bell.

Blue-shirted man on racing track
Buxton, who previously worked with SPEED Channel, brings extensive motorsport broadcasting experience to the role. He expressed enthusiasm about returning to FOX after 15 years, stating that covering IndyCar fulfills a lifelong dream of storytelling in American open-wheel racing.
James Hinchcliffe continues his role as analyst, bringing current IndyCar expertise and detailed technical knowledge to the broadcasts. His existing chemistry with Townsend Bell, developed during their time at NBC, will carry over to the new network.
Bell, who started his television career with FOX Sports' F1 coverage 21 years ago, completes the main broadcast team. His experience and sometimes contentious on-air relationship with Hinchcliffe adds an engaging dynamic to the coverage.
The network plans to announce its pit lane reporting team in the coming weeks as it prepares for its inaugural IndyCar season broadcast.
