The conflict escalated after Russell revealed Verstappen's alleged threat to "put you on your f****** head in the wall" during their Qatar Grand Prix stewards' meeting. Verstappen retaliated by calling Russell a "backstabber" before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
