Toyota's Henk Lategan seized the overall lead from Yazeed Al Rajhi, establishing a 26m46s advantage over Ford's Mattias Ekstrom. Al Rajhi's cautious approach in the dunes cost him valuable time, while Nasser Al Attiyah's navigation error pushed him back 20 minutes, though he remains in podium contention.
Michael Docherty made history as the first Rally 2 competitor since 2022 to win an overall motorbike stage, beating Rui Gonçalves by 1m20s. Daniel Sanders maintains the overall bike lead with a 16m31s gap over Tosha Schareina.
In the SSV category, "Chaleco" Lopez secured his fifth win of the season, while Brock Heger holds a commanding 1h50m overall lead. Saudi driver Dania Akeel dominated the Challenger class, finishing third overall in the day's car rankings and joining an elite group of female Dakar stage winners.
The 10th stage covered over 500 kilometers from Haradh to the Arabian Gulf, featuring extensive dune navigation in Saudi Arabia's Empty Quarter. With strategic starting positions set for the next stage, the competition remains intense as contestants approach the rally's final stages.
