Ford secured its second consecutive Dakar Rally stage win, with Mattias Ekstrom winning Stage 11 by 41 seconds over Nasser Al-Attiyah in Saudi Arabia's Empty Quarter. Despite his strong performance, Al-Attiyah's Dacia still trails Ekstrom by over four minutes heading into the final stage.

Yazeed Al Rajhi reclaimed the overall lead, finishing third on the stage to overtake Toyota teammate Henk Lategan. The Saudi driver now holds a 6m11s advantage before Friday's final 61km stage.

In the SSV class, American Sara Price secured her second stage victory, finishing 3m30s ahead of teammate "Chaleco" Lopez. Lopez moved into second place overall but remains more than two hours behind overall leader Brock Heger (Polaris).

The motorcycle category saw Tosha Schareina gain 7m31s on Daniel Sanders in a shortened stage due to foggy conditions. However, Schareina still trails Sanders by nine minutes. Adrien Van Beveren maintains third place overall, despite Luciano Benavides finishing 24s ahead of him in the stage.

In the Challenger class, American Corbin Leaverton's strong start was derailed by mechanical issues, losing nearly an hour. Yasir Seaidan capitalized on this setback to win his third stage, finishing over 5m ahead of Pau Navarro and 7m ahead of Dania Akeel. Nicholas Cavigliasso maintains a comfortable 1h11m lead heading into the final stage.
