Mitch Evans achieved a remarkable victory at the Formula E Season 11 opener in Sao Paulo, winning from last place on the grid despite early weekend setbacks.

The Jaguar TCS Racing driver faced significant challenges, including a powertrain issue during practice and brake system problems that prevented him from setting a qualifying lap. Despite these setbacks, Evans managed to turn his fortune around during the race.

A key factor in Evans' victory was his strategic use of Attack Mode, which now provides front-wheel power boost along with additional power for eight minutes during the race. Following teammate Nick Cassidy's approach, Evans delayed his final Attack Mode usage, successfully overtaking competitors who had already depleted their allocation.
